Participation of Sviatoslav Balaka in the European Conference on Interventional Oncology (ECIO) 2024
This year's European Conference on Interventional Oncology (ECIO), held from April 28 to May 1 in the picturesque Palma de Mallorca, gathered around a thousand specialists from all over the world. The sole delegate from Ukraine was Sviatoslav Balaka, the head of the Association of Interventional Oncologists of Ukraine.
Dr. Balaka actively participated in a series of discussions and strategic meetings with industrial partners, where certain agreements on collaboration were reached.
ECIO is a crucial event for professionals engaged in interventional oncology, as it promotes the exchange of experiences, cutting-edge technologies, and the improvement of treatment methods. During this event, Sviatoslav Balaka was able to express his views on the development of the field and discuss the potential of the latest technological solutions in medicine.
In addition to participating in professional discussions, Dr. Balaka had the opportunity to hold several meetings with international partners regarding the development and implementation of innovative methods in Ukraine. These agreements are of great significance for the further development of interventional oncology in Ukraine and the strengthening of international ties.
Through his active participation at ECIO 2024, Sviatoslav Balaka reinforced the position of Ukrainian interventional oncology on the international stage and opened new opportunities for development and cooperation in the medical field.
